Differences and similarities sampling PCR Saliva vs Nasopharyngeal
In general, in both samples the RNA molecule is located and amplified, this genetic material can detect SARS-CoV-2 infection. The real difference lies in how you take the sample:
While the PCR test with nasopharyngeal intake is performed by swabs that are inserted through both holes in the nose and then another through the mouth, the test can sometimes be very bothersome in children or people with surgeries or breathing problems.
Instead, the saliva test is done by removing some oral fluid and depositing it in a clinical container; the test is considered non-invasive, and may be indicated in children and sensitive collective.
Which test is most reliable?
Both the PCR test with naeopharyngeal intake and saliva intake are 99% reliable.
We have a percentage discount according to the number of workers, option to perform the tests on the company’s premises. For more information, you can contact the management service directly: Email / Whatsapp
